PT Crown Teknologi Indonesia Partners with RSUP Dr. M. Djamil Padang and the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Andalas

Padang, May 12, 2026 — PT Crown Teknologi Indonesia signed a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) with RSUP Dr. M. Djamil Padang and the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Andalas, regarding Research and Development of Molecular-Based Diagnostic Products. The signing took place during the working visit of the Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, dr. Benjamin Paulus Octavianus, Sp.P, FISR, at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Andalas, on Tuesday (May 12).

PT Crown Teknologi Indonesia was represented by Andri Khaidir, S.T., as Director. The event was also attended by officials from the Ministry of Health of the RI, the Provincial Government of West Sumatra, the President Director of RSUP Dr. M. Djamil Padang Dr. dr. Dovy Djanas, Sp.OG, KFM, MARS, FISQua, the Rector of Universitas Andalas Efa Yonnedi, Ph.D., the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Andalas Dr. dr. Sukri Rahman, Sp.THT-KL(K) Onk, FICS, FACS, FFSTEd, as well as a number of other stakeholders and strategic partners.

During the series of events, the Deputy Minister of Health of the RI also delivered a public lecture on the national strategy for accelerating the elimination of Tuberculosis (TB) in Indonesia.

The collaboration between PT Crown Teknologi Indonesia, RSUP Dr. M. Djamil Padang, and the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Andalas, is expected to strengthen synergy among industry, healthcare facilities, and academic institutions in driving research, innovation, and the development of molecular diagnostic products tailored to national healthcare needs.

Through this collaboration, PT Crown Teknologi Indonesia reaffirms its commitment to continuously contributing to the development of domestic diagnostic technology, the commercialization of research outcomes, and the strengthening of the national health industry's independence.

The event concluded with a group photo session as a symbol of the parties' commitment to strengthening collaboration in supporting healthcare innovation and transformation in Indonesia.
