Director of PT Crown Teknologi Indonesia Becomes a Speaker at the 2026 BKS PTN Barat Forum of Vice Rectors for Cooperation

Padang, July 21, 2026 — The Director of PT Crown Teknologi Indonesia, Andri Khaidir, S.T., served as a speaker at the 2026 BKS PTN Barat Forum of Vice Rectors for Cooperation held at the Convention Hall of Universitas Andalas, Padang, on Tuesday (July 21).

During the event, Andri Khaidir presented the research-industry collaboration, production, and product utilization model within the framework of the Health Innovation Triple Helix. This model emphasizes the importance of synergy between universities, industry, and government in driving research outcomes so they can be developed into products that provide tangible benefits for healthcare services and the community.

PT Crown Teknologi Indonesia takes on the role of a bridge between research and industry, particularly in supporting the commercialization process of health innovations from universities toward the stages of development, production, licensing, and broader product utilization.

In his presentation, Andri Khaidir also conveyed that the journey of PT Crown Teknologi Indonesia is inseparable from the spirit of innovation and ideas of university inventors, especially from Universitas Andalas. This collaboration continues to expand by engaging a number of universities in Indonesia, including Universitas Padjadjaran, Universitas Sumatera Utara, Universitas Hasanuddin, and various other institutions in the development of commercial products as a tangible form of research commercialization.

The event also featured a discussion and Q&A session regarding the mechanisms of cooperation between researchers or universities and PT Crown Teknologi Indonesia. Responding to this, the Director of PT Crown Teknologi Indonesia stated that forms of collaboration can be directly explored and implemented according to the potential research outcomes to be developed. In the process toward commercialization, PT Crown Teknologi Indonesia can also assist with the processing of product Marketing Authorization Numbers (NIE) in accordance with applicable regulations.

At the forum, university representatives in attendance expressed their support for the utilization and adoption of innovative products by researchers that have been developed and commercialized through PT Crown Teknologi Indonesia. This support serves as an important step in building the ecosystem.
